I’m Ryan. And I’m a comedy writer. Though I may be best known for exhibiting grief when a mysterious grease stain appears on a favorite shirt.

Since the dawn of television (when Kurt met Blaine on Glee obviously), I’ve been excited about consuming and writing LGBTQ+ stories: bringing any fantastical premise to reality with those formative “finding yourself” years, teenage love triangles, high school drama, and young adult or quarter-life hardships.

But! When I clock out of my current work with Netflix Animation Studios, I have many hobbies, like preaching the value of “2017 in franchise films,” yelling at you for manually quitting your iPhone apps, blowing out speakers to the vocal build in Kelly Clarkson’s studio-recorded cover of Billie Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever,” talking to the internet via my TikTok camera, and gaming the AMC A-List system.
